When we usually think of flowers, we associate them with beautiful, vivid colours and, moreover, they have always been a representation of beauty. For this piece, I used black and white only. The uncommon combination highlights the floral details and gives an impression of depth and fullness. Studying flowers made me concentrate not on their beauty, but on their other attributes.
Drawing pens, black and white roll pens and black markers were used on the A3 paper.
