“Childish reverie” is my visual term of endearment. Lettering, typography studies and childhood remembrances are intertwined to form this piece. Inspired by my favourite fantasy story, “Alice’s adventures in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll, the artwork reflects on the twisted but intriguing path that the characters follow. As one of my majors is English language and English and American literature, I studied the deeper meaning of the book and was fascinated by its imagery. The White Rabbit is made out of the Alphabet.
Different types of coloured paper, black ink drawing pens, white gel pens, cards, scrabble pieces and paper clips were used in the sketchbook. |
